Rotoaira Forest Trust was established in 1973 to protect and enhance the whenua and resources entrusted to it by its owners. Situated in the heart of the Central North Island, the Trust manages a diverse portfolio of forestry, tourism, transport, environmental and commercial assets for the benefit of current and future generations.
Our origins are grounded in the foresight of our tūpuna, who recognised that by working collectively we could create enduring opportunities for our people while retaining our connection to the whenua. Today, the Trust continues that legacy through responsible governance, sustainable land management and strategic investment.
